Returns Policy
All products are quality checked prior to leaving our Suppliers’ workshops. They also all have a pre delivery inspection at our warehouse prior to distribution. In the unlikely event that we deliver your item damaged please do not sign for or accept delivery. The delivery driver will notify us immediately. In these circumstances we will contact you quickly to offer you a 100% refund or a replacement, whichever suits you best. In the unlikely event that goods are
delivered damaged the delivery charge is fully refundable or if an
exchange item is chosen there is no re-delivery charge to the customer.
On delivery the customer will be asked to check the item and sign the delivery sheet to confirm the goods were received in perfect condition. We do not accept "goods received, unchecked"
as it is the receiver’s responsibility to check the leather sofas /
settees / corner sofas etc before signing. Once signed for we will only
be liable for manufacturers faults which will be repaired or replaced.
All online customers have 7 working days "cooling off period" from delivery, in which to return the item back to our warehouse in accordance to the distance selling act 2000. It is the customers responsibility to make own arrangements to return the item at own expense.
Upon receipt, the returned goods will be inspected by our warehouse staff in front of the person returning the sofa. Providing the goods are in perfect resellable condition a full refund of the goods will be issued. The cost of delivery cannot be refunded, and the responsibility to return the sofas is down to the customer at their own expense. If the sofas are returned damaged then they we will not accept them back and the return will be rejected.
Please note that it is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure that item ordered will fit into their property. If the sofas do not fit into the property then we can either leave the order at customers doorstep or we can bring them back in the van for a £40 returns fee. Once the sofas are back in our warehouse we will be in touch to issue a refund (minus the £40 delivery fee and £40 returns fee). This returns option is only available whilst the delivery men are still at property. If you have opted for a pallet delivery then if the sofas do not fit into your premises then you will have to return the sofas back to our warehouse at customers own expense.
Exchange Policy
Customers have the right to exchange an item within the 7 working days cooling off period. It is the customers responsibility to make own arrangements to return the item back to our warehouse at own expense.
Upon receipt, the returned goods will be inspected by our warehouse
staff. Providing the goods are in perfect resellable condition we will make arrangements to exchange the sofa. If the sofas are returned with any damage they will be rejected. The return timescale is within 15 working days subject to stock availability and a further £40 re-delivery fee would be applied.
Warranties
Sofas supplied by Sofaland.com carry a 12 months manufactures guarantee from date of purchase to the original purchaser against defects in components, materials and workmanship.
The guarantee excludes damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, inappropriate use or care and repairs other than by Sofaland Ltd or its agents.
Sofaland Ltd may repair any guaranteed item at its discretion. All claims should be made in writing and will usually involve Sofaland sending an independent engineer to produce a report on the issue. This guarantee gives no rights other than those expressly set out above and does not cover any claims for consequential losses or damages. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
The Above terms and any warranties and or guarantees only apply to furniture purchased for use in the UK mainland.
Rips / tears in mid leather are not
covered by manufacturers warranty. To cover this type of damage we would
recommend taking out our Premier Care accidental damage insurance.
Premier Care Insurance is sold by Sofaland Ltd on behalf of Castelan Group (www.castelangroup.com). The contract is between the buyer and Castelan Group. All paperwork will be sent via 1st class post within 14 days of delivery. Full terms and conditions are available from us at request.
If customer makes any changes, modification, alterations to the furniture then the warranty becomes invalid.
Cancellations
For all online orders the customer has the right to cancel the order at any time prior to the goods leaving our warehouse for delivery. To cancel your order please email us via the contact us page. Refunds will be made within10 working days and will be refunded in the same method payment was made. If we have already collected your sofa from our suppliers before cancellation then you will lose your £40 delivery fee.
Any cancellation must be put in writing to: sales@sofaland.com
In store or made to order sofas cannot be cancelled once deposit has been received.
Sofaland also reserves the rights to cancel the order at any time without any liability.

All content on this web site, including text and images, is protected by UK copyright law. Anyone found to be using this content without our express permission will be asked to remove it and could be prosecuted.
Miscellaneous
We will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss either financially or other damage which may occur. This includes any failed deliveries or damage to property during the delivery process.
All flat packed furniture will be delivered flat pack. We can not build it for you.
Sofaland reserves the right to make changes and amendments to our website.
To request samples of our standard "corrected grain" leather please email sales@sofaland.com or call 01925 629 979. Our samples are there to give an idea of the colour. As leather is a natural material we can not guarantee the exact same shade will be used on the actual sofa.
We can not take your old sofas away with us, however local councils will
collect/dispose of waste, unreusable sofas. Those that are Reusable and too
good for the tip can be donated to a Furniture Reuse Organisation, charities
that provide furniture to people in need. Most collect donations for free, and
you can find your nearest FRO by going to the national network website www.frn.org.uk
